However, mainstream western meditation often provides only a watered-down version of meditation focusing on the mind, manifestation of wants or attempts to escape our most basic human emotions. For nearly two decades, Diane has been devoted to studying and understanding the latest scientific developments in contemplative neuroscience while experiencing the most ancient forms of inner practice. Diane has taught her science-based forms of meditation and somatic practices at diverse venues around the globe on five continents. She currently teaches classes based in mindfulness, loving kindness, compassion, formative and somatic techniques both on-line and in person to address issues form self-development to stress to even trauma.
