About Diane Breneman
"My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor and some style.”
~ Maya Angelou
Diane Breneman, is a licensed professional counselor and coach who began her professional life as an attorney.
For over twenty five years, she specialized in burn injury work, ultimately building a law firm that represented burned children and parents who lost a child to a burn injury across the United States.
Immersed in an intense profession, she became fascinated with all aspects of psychology and personal development from stress and trauma to inner growth and self-actualization. During this time, she routinely witnessed our culture’s failure to effectively address stress and trauma as well as how these failings limit quality of life and professional performance. It ultimately became clear to Diane that all human beings suffer with their own experiences of stress and trauma and are in serious need of tools to effectively address these issues and create a more fulfilling and deeper life experience. Diane ultimately quit her thriving law practice, obtained a masters at Wake Forest University, studied with the founder of formative psychology in Berkely, and became a full-time counselor, coach and consultant.
During the last two decades, Diane has trained with a wide variety of renowned experts from around the globe. Combining teachings and practices from humanistic psychology, meditation, neuroscience, interoception, and epigenetics, Diane has created her own unique modality that is both practical in its application and profound in its impact. Students and clients gain a more robust understanding of the science of life while opening to their most powerful inner experiences. Diane has offered her work across the world to participants in North America, South America, Asia, Europe and Australia.
